We are implementing COVID-19 Pre-screening procedures for the safety of all visitors. As of January 22, 2021 anyone wanting to meet with a staff member will need to be pre-screened, regardless whether they meet in the staff member’s office or a classroom.
Pre-Screening entails:
Visitors will be pre-screened by the staff member that they are here to visit. Visitors are not allowed to pass the roped off area without being prescreened.
We were just informed by Cardinal DiNardo that we are allowed to seat more people in the church building, so long as we continue to observe 6 foot separation, mouths and noses are covered, hands are cleaned and the building and furnishings are sanitized after each Mass.
If you have been thinking of attending Mass please be assured that we are doing our very best to make the building a safe environment. You might consider attending a weekday Mass if you want more distance. If you remain concerned and choose to stay home, remember that we are live streaming Sunday Masses at 10:00am in English and at 1:00pm in Spanish.
What if you are not ready to attend Mass but want to receive Holy Communion? We distribute Holy Communion after the 10:00am and 1:00pm Masses. Wait in the parking lot until you see people leaving Mass, then come to the main entrance of the narthex. We’ll usher you into the church so you can receive the Eucharist.
Thanks to everyone who is helping us to have a safe and joyful celebration of our faith. Our volunteers are doing a great job and we always need more, so don’t hesitate to volunteer if you are interested. Thanks also to everyone who is able to continue their financial support to the parish; you are keeping us going.
God grant healing to all who are sick, comfort to those who are dying and eternal life to all who believe in His Son.
The CDC and local government are still strongly encouraging wearing masks in public and the Archdiocese has made this a requirement for Masses to be held. Anyone 10 and older MUST wear a facemask or face covering on our campus and during Mass. Please be prepared to keep your nose and mouth covered at all times. This policy is in place to keep all of our parishioners, clergy and staff safe.
Masks must be worn to cover the mouth and nose throughout the duration of Mass.
Masks should be worn in the communion line. After receiving communion in your hand, please step to the side, lower your mask, consume the Eucharist, and then re-mask as you head back to your pew.
If you are seated nearby someone who is non-compliant and you wish to move, please raise your hand and an usher will reseat you.
Wearing your facemask is an act of kindness. We appreciate your participation.
