Sundays, 9:15 Mass
Teams of volunteers provide the Gospel reading for children, five years to fifth grade, on a rotating schedule at the 9:15 am mass. Each team consists of a reader, a person to share a reflection on the readings, music/song leader, and ushers to assist the children. Resource materials are provided to prepare for the readings of the day. Youth and adults are invited to attend the Liturgy of the Word in the Social Hall when the children are dismissed during mass on any Sunday.
A Call For Help
At this time we are not able to provide the Gospel reading for children at the 9:15am mass due to lack of volunteers. Hearing the Word of God and having it explained to a child at his/her level is vital in preparing the foundation to his/her Faith. We need our Parishioners to answer this call for help and volunteer in this Ministry so that our children can continue to receive and comprehend the Word of God.
